Smart Dust: The Future World Of Computer Senses-Privacy?
I can remember back in grade 6, I made sure that all the geeks were well loved, I had an affinity for their minds, I totally got how their inner world worked. I’m a total geek and don’t mind sharing my geekdom (is there such a word?) with others, just don’t expect me to sit in front of a video an XBox and play some sci-fi explorer game that would take me 10 months to finish, not my thing.
BUT, start talking about nanotechnology, super string theory, multi-verses, biomolecular nanomechanics and the reductionist theory, well – I’m hooked for as long as your intellect can stand it!
Love to have your comments on the implecations of what you believe nanotechnology can do for our immennt near future. It’s already here as you can see and once nanotechnology gets dispersed it is an intellect that I believe humans are not yet intellectially enaged enought to understand the full impact it will have on our world. Think about the sub-species of how you walk down the street see and ant, and choose to squash it, not really thinking or believing you have just killed another life form. You just do it because your bigger, it’s beneath you and you have to power to do so-without understanding the full ramificaations of a life lost. That ant was a mother, father, child to some other ant, it had siblings and it had order within it’s world. You decided you no longer wanted to see it as it was a pest in the moment-without fully thinking through what your actions have done. This is what nanotechnology is to the human species, all powerful advancement within our reach, yet the implicate order might be squashed like the ant who is unknown to the larger organism.
